Choose your desktop platform
Install and sign in to Telegram Desktop
- Choose your operating system, download the package and verify its source and digital signature.
- On Windows, run the installer. On macOS, move the app into Applications. On Linux, extract the archive and launch the app.
- Follow the app instructions to sign in using a QR code or phone number, then review privacy and security settings.
Sync between mobile and desktop
Cloud chats can sync between signed-in devices. Secret chats are device-specific and are not supported by Telegram Desktop.
